My philosophy

My approach to medicine is rooted in the philosophy of "health from within." I believe in addressing the root causes of health issues through diet and preventive care, rather than simply treating symptoms. While medications have their place, my goal is to minimize their use whenever possible—focusing instead on enhancing a pet’s longevity and quality of life.

To achieve this, I integrate supplements and a holistic/functional medicine approach into my practice, tailoring care to support the body's natural healing processes. My personal experience with fertility challenges has deepened my appreciation for alternative modalities, especially when traditional medicine falls short. This perspective drives my commitment to offering comprehensive, integrative care for pets.

Practical

I value your time and money. While diagnostics are sometimes necessary, they can quickly become overwhelming and expensive without actually treating the patient. I strive for a balanced approach—focusing on what’s truly helpful for your pet, not just what’s possible.

Educator

With over 10 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician in ER and time spent teaching future veterinary nurses, I’ve developed a straightforward, easy-to-understand way of explaining things. I love empowering pet owners with knowledge—especially when it comes to common concerns like allergies, where small changes at home can make a big difference.

Good Listener

Many clients just need someone to talk to. I understand that by the time you reach out, you’ve likely been worrying for days. I’m here not only to help your pet but to be a supportive ear for you too. Sometimes, the best care starts with listening.

Flexibility

I’m bilingual and have lived between two cultures my whole life. This gives me a unique perspective and the ability to adapt. There's rarely one “right” way to treat a condition—being open-minded and listening to your needs helps us find the best solution together.

Creativity

I took zoo medicine three times in vet school—because it pushed me to think outside the box. Whether it's an exotic pet or a tricky situation, I love finding creative solutions to help animals thrive.

What I Bring to the Table

  • I keep things simple and smart—no unnecessary tests, meds, or visits.

  • I give you options, not just orders. We’ll decide together what’s best.

  • I explain things in plain language, and I’m always happy to answer questions.

  • I communicate with your whole family—because pets are family.

  • I teach you how to care for your pet at home, so you feel confident and prepared.

  • I’m real, honest, and easy to talk to. No white coat energy here.

  • I respect your time and your budget—because I’d want the same if I were in your shoes.

  • I’ll advocate for your pet like they’re my own.
